How fortunate that a “people person” like myself, could get a gig where I can promote the arts, get some grassroots exposure and engage my personality so freely. I’ve been fortunate to serve both ends of the age demographic and all kinds of occasions! Birthdays, bridal showers, anniversary parties, kid parties, girl’s night out, etc. I pride myself on being patient and accommodating to any experience level. There are two things I feel fortunate about clearly remembering. The first is I remember what it was like to be a kid. Second, I remember when I couldn’t draw much the way I wanted. Practicing regularly and being open to helpful, critiques made me open to improvement. Talent can only take you so far, commitment is what makes professionals.

Fast Food Art

Maybe there are some masterpieces that were created in two and a half hours, give or take a half. I assure you that does not account for the amount of preparation to get to that level. Art should be fun and not be taken so seriously, there’s a time and place, I’m sure…but not in my house.

I’m  glad to see regular folks coming out and ingesting high volumes of good “juju” and creativity ALL guilt free and zero calories (kinda)! One day I may be able to proudly tout, “ONE MILLION SERVED!!!”
